Chassis number MR7-114B was manufactured on 2nd October 1969 and sold to Fred Opert in California. The car was fitted with both a Lotus twin cam and ran in the USA Formula B events and as a Formula Ford. In the late 1990’s the car returned to the UK and was acquired by PA Motorsport. PA Motorsport, which is owned by Peter Alexander acquired the rights and all the jigs, drawings and spare parts for the Macon Race Cars. Peter is a very sucessful driver being the head instructor at Brands Hatch and race car preparer. It is intended to restore the MR7 back to its Formula B state sometime during 2014.
