Titan Formula Ford
This car was owned by Kevin McBride from South Africa.
It is an ex Charles Lucas car which was substantially damaged in an accident.
Kevin rebuilt a chassis and fitted a modified Royale body.
The car was imported into Australia in 1988. The car ran at Wanneroo From 1988 to 1998 driven by Kevin McBride.
The car was sucessful is hillclimbs winning the Ellenbrook hill climb but has been used to train new drivers the skills needed for an open wheeler. Unfortunately the car has had more hits than Elvis with Matt Lloyd rolling the car at the Albany Around the Houses. Another body was constructed and the radiator moved back to the front of the car more in line with its original body style. The car came to griev at Notham whilst been driven by Trevor Hill and again at Albany whilst driven by Ken Reed. In the short term the car will only run at a circuit where there are appropriate run off areas.
